HOW TO SET THE SHUTDOWN TIME FOR COMPUTER


Hello friends! In my today’s post, I will tell you the way to set the timer for the computer to shutdown. This is important if you are handover the computer to kid for playing games or to someone whom you don’t trust. It can be very useful in many other ways as well. So without wasting time let’s get started.

# open command prompt as admin, press windows keys + X and click on command prompt (admin)

COMMAND PROMPT (ADMIN)

# now write:- shutdown /s /t 3600

SHUT DOWN

Here 3600 is the time in seconds which means that your computer will shutdown after 1 hour. You can set time according to yourself.

# you will see a message on the task bar confirming your command.

MESSAGE

TO ABORT THIS CHANGE

# open command prompt as admin, press windows keys + X and click on command prompt (admin)

COMMAND PROMPT (ADMIN)

# now write:- shutdown /a

CANCEL SHUT DOWN

# you will see a message on the task bar confirming your command.

MESSAGE
