HOW TO KNOW THE PASSWORD OF THE WIFI NETWORK WE ARE CONNECTED TO


Hello friends! After a long time, I am here with a very useful article. Nowadays connecting our devices with wifi networks to use the internet is a very trendy and common thing. Almost everybody uses it. What if I ask you that how you will find out the password of the network to which you are connected? This question might be a thing of confusion for many computer users. But not now. In today’s article, I will tell how you can do that. So let’s get started…….

There are 2 ways to find out the password of the network to which you are connected:-

  1. USING COMMAND PROMPT

To find out the password of the network to which you are connected follow the given steps:-

# open command prompt as an administrator ( press window key + x > command prompt (admin) )

# write down the following code:-

netsh wlan show profile thev key = clear ( press enter)

COMMAND PROMPT

# scroll down, under security settings tab, the key content is your password.

COMMAND PROMPT

Here thev was a network and thevtech was its password.

  1. USING NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER

# Click on the network icon on the taskbar

NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER

# right click and click on open network and sharing centre

OPEN NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER

# click on the wifi networks’ name, new box will appear

WIFI NETWORK

# click on wireless properties, new box will appear

WIRELESS PROPERTIES

# click on security

SECURITY

# click on show characters

PASSWORD

And the password will be visible to you.
